What's Firespot?
Firespot is a community-driven deals platform built for Canadians. Think of it as a campfire where people gather to share the good stuff they've found—no sales pitches, no fake urgency, just real people helping each other make smarter buying decisions.
Why build another deals site?
Honestly? Because the existing options feel broken. Too many affiliate links disguised as recommendations. Too much noise drowning out the signal. Moderators on power trips. Ads that make pages unusable.
Firespot takes a different approach. Deals rise and fall based on what the community actually values, not what brands are paying to promote. Quality over quantity. People over profit margins.
Who's behind this?
Just me. One developer who got tired of wading through garbage to find a good deal. I'm building Firespot in the open, learning as I go, and trying to create something that actually respects your time and attention.
How does Firespot make money?
